This is an ascent of the highest trekking peak in Nepal (6400 meters). The peak is classed as a trekking peak however the last 3 days from the Mera La Pass to the Summit are on glacier and snow with a risk of crevasses and avalanche so it is necessary to take the correct safety equipment and a trained guide with you.
The trekking route does not follow the normal Everest Base Camp route so you will find it quieter and less developed which means that the area you pass through to the mountain is less spoilt and more natural than the surrounding areas. The trek is entirely camping with at least 2 nights camping on a glacier above 5000 meters so you’ll need lots of warm clothing and insulated mountain boots!
